best flight options

need flight on oct 4th from jfk-Washington DC (either airport)
Flight needs to land at 10:30am and needs to leave after 5:00 pm
nothing avail with BA miles
Flight costs a bit under 400$
whats my next best option to book to get the flight cheaper?
(checked SW,AA,UA,FB with miles- doesnt seem to be cheaper option)

Looking for flight from NYC to FLL or West Palm leaving on 12/23 or 12/24 and returning 12/31 or 1/1.

I know its pricey and willing to go non direct.

k now i need the way home... i booked the way there for 120$ and the way home is pricing 225$.. any ideas?
