If you want to know what is the halacha, ask your Rav. For a heter to do what you want, ask ____ or click on this link ... etc or call 1-800-dialaheter  :P

Yup, I keep one day!

btw, when browsing ddf, ppl can see you! Ask HelpMe who was on last night, and also it can be checked after Y"T.

Who ever said  anything about ppl being able or not being able to see?

What should we ask HelpMe? It would be quite weird if he even held one day

...as long as nobody - ABSOLUTELY NOBODY - can tell. For example, you can't turn on the light in your room, since people can see it under the door. But you can, say, browse DDF. :)

Just asked R' Wiener if one can do melacha very bitzina but people will find out after YT...he said best not to but if for a צורך its ok...so the question is..is DDF a צורך?   :D

I heard that there is a known Rav "Fisher" who's opinion is that people from chu"l should keep one day yo"t in E"Y.  Anyone with more info?

The chacham tzvi held so.

That's not black and white, there are different Rabbonim who Pasken differently. When I was in E"Y for Yeshivah some of the Americans kept one day and those who kept 2 would ask them to go buy us Falafel for Seudas Yom Tov :)

And that's what chabad does.
Most chabad poskim at least.  Though in Eilat it would definitely be 2 days.
And chabad Israelis will hold 2 days in chu"l.

In other words it has nothing to do with being an american/israeli but whether you are in the place where they held 1 or 2 days b'zman habayis.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.
