The chacham tzvi held so.
I meant contemporary Posek
And that's what chabad does.
False statement.
That's not black and white, there are different Rabbonim who Pasken differently.
Exactly
Most chabad poskim at least. Though in Eilat it would definitely be 2 days.
And chabad Israelis will hold 2 days in chu"l.
In other words it has nothing to do with being an american/israeli but whether you are in the place where they held 1 or 2 days b'zman habayis.
"Most Chabad poskim", did you take a vote? BTW, what does HaRav Chaikin hold?
"Though in Eilat it would definitely be 2 days."
I spoke with the (a?) Shliach there, he told me that everyone in Eilat keeps ONE day, though in essence they should really be keeping two! Any questions on that, don't ask me.
The Chida also holds like this and that's where many poskim get the one day psak from. Eilat is not E'Y so I don't think any mainstreem posek would hold 1 day.
Can you please point me to the Chid"a, thanks.
Shulchan aruch??
Can you please be more specific, what are you referring to?
