I heard of a shita that says you do the minhag of wherever you are at that time. I thought it was sephardim, but I guess not.

I believe the Alter Rebbe reasons that the Kedushah in Eretz Yisroel is only 1 day so no reason to keep 2, and vice versa.

Here's Rav Herschel Schachter's view on Y"T Sheini in E"Y, very interesting and to the point.

Besides the classic two opinions of one day or two days, and the "one and a half days" opinion, I was unaware of the "two and a half days" opinion (lol), which is the one he practices.

If only I didn't have to think about this every time I go... , very disturbing to the conscious.  Enough golus!

That's what my fam does when they visit for Pesach.
Being a bochur in a Litvishe yeshiva in America made it a little awkward for me...
So after one year of keeping one day, I started keeping two. 2nd night seder by myself w my fam taking pix of me, VERY awkward but cool too.

There's more than one "rav" in Lubavitch, and what you heard is false.  As I responded to the original post you quoted.
