Rented a car with dollar in the summer. Picked it up at jfk and gave it back at lga. The agent said to park it there and all is ok. When i got back from the usa, i saw that ny cc was charged 4 days later for 150 dollars. I emailed dollar and asked what the charge is about and they said a key was missing and i had to pay for it.
1) I really dont think i lost it. Had the car for a day and didnt play around with the keys
2) How can they charge me, i never signed a paper saying how many keys i got, so what proof do they have
3) I wrote them, that i dont agree and didnt loose a key, if they dont want to refund i will fight the charge through my cc. Will they blacklist me because of that?
Any other idea?
