Thanks!
Anyone have info about changing last names? Can it be done at the same time?
Should be able. When my wife made her first ID, they first had to "process" one on her old name and then on her new name

Keep in mind that for a complete change in name you need to go to the social security office as well

Before changing drivers license?
What do you mean by 'complete'? My first name is staying the same.

No you can change it at dmv. what I meant was as far as the ss office your name will remain the same so that when filing taxes e.t.c your name will still be the same although your license will have a different last name

I believe you get a partial refund because you pay for two years at a time. Double check.

If the registration sticker is not used (meaning not stuck onto the window) it seems you would get a full refund if returned to the DMV within 60 days of issuance.

I did this recently , they take a while to process the refund check.

So why in the world do they have this page?
Note:  If the correct reservation category is not selected, we may not be able to honor your appointment.

Anyone was recently there and didn't ask for reservation confirmation?

Reservations are not required but will save you lots of time at the DMV. If you have a registration, you go into an expedited queue. You will be assigned a number starting with a W (I think it refers to Web reservation). I strongly recommend making a reservation.
