Great deal if you have the money to shell out now.
What about combining some accounts, and then monetizing them for 1.4, which is around the going rate for US?

Thank you.

And i'm assuming if i fly in Business to the north asia region (which is listed at 90K) but fly back in Business from south pacific (which is listed at 110K), will my total cost be 100K? thats how delta does it, but i'm not that familiar with USair.

No you'd pay 120K.
To clarify: South Asia is not South Pacific. South Pacific is Australia and New Zealand.

hmm, so they dont average it? but rather take the cost for the more expensive route? i mean i was planning on flying back from south pacific, but thought the cost would be an average of the 2 routes.

Actually US lets you route south pacific via Asia, so it'll cost you 110K total, even if you add a leg from Asia to Australia.

This discussion could also be relevant.
Seems to good to be true, but I haven't yet tried, so I don't know.

I guess the best way is to call them and find out.
Thanks for your help

Is it worth it to just buy them for no reason just to stock up?

You will always be billed the highest possible, so mixing a 90k and 110k is defenitely 110k.

By me they often quoted mistakes, but unfortunately too much, but I assume the opposite is also happening.

Remember that US gives way less availability than there actually is.

Lately 2x LH First were available, but 0 seats on US....

2 LH actual seats that were bookable on UA? or the standard phantom or waitlisted availability?

It is clearly determined that US cannot access the same LH F inventory, it seems no LH F at all. There are rumors this is LH action as opposed to pmUA style 'starnet' blocking.

Aeroplan and unites show phantom lh f avail. Only reliable is ana

Lh f is blocked to us air only. Lh f opens to all other star partners 14 days before

Lx blocks all f to star partners, even 6 hours before departure with f8 showing

Us has a seperate issue, that even in business when booking lx or lh some seats showing on ana are not available. So alot of times you need +1 seat, so that you can book with us

Aeroplan sometimes doesnt show lx or lh avail. Even when ana or even us will have 9 seats in that cabin...

If you want to fly lx f, this is only through m and m possible

This sums up my experience
