Need A Car For 5 Months

I need a car for a friend in the NYC area for 5 months, renting seems really expensive. Does anybody have a better idea?

Buy a used car and sell it after. You could make money on it even.

This is for a friend, he has no credit or driving history as he will be here from the UK for  few months. Lease isn't an option due to credit. Buying will be expensive due to insurance being really high.

Any ideas for a "long term rental"?

Buy a cheap car and just get basic liability insurance

Rent a car in delaware they sometimes have very good rates
