I signed up 3 accounts. I did the spending on only 2 of them and the one I did NOT spend the money is the one that the miles posted.

I signed up one account which at the time was linked to a Mileage Plus Explorer card, did not do the spending, closed the card about a month ago. The miles posted today with an activity date of 12/1/2012 and a description of "Chase Bonus."

I guess this is Chanuka gelt from Chase :-)

Perhaps I should have signed up other family members' accounts.

I am feeling the same way now. It is so wierd how I only got the points on the account which I did not do the spending on.

I didn't spend any money after signing up for this promotion ( didn't think it was worth the spend on a chance of getting the miles) and lo and behold I have 5,000 miles in my account. What a fun surprise!

Edit: Just went back to check all my accounts. 2 had the bonus. I don't remember if I signed up the others for it as well though or not. Either way.
