I'd like to go away for this holiday weekend from NYC to either Los Angeles, Los Cabos, Las Vegas, Cancun or Hawaii.
What's my best shot at finding award space (any mileage) to any of the above places?   (Hotel availability is another story.)
I'm talking leaving tonight/tom morning...

Any thoughts?  Would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

Did you check yourself at all before posting? See lots of AA availability for the next few days from NYC to LAX for example. I am sure there are many more options to other places and using other miles too.

Now that KE is no longer a transfer partner with Chase, i am looking for routing ideas from NRT or HND. Any input is appreciated.

Looking for a getaway for my wife and I + an 8 month old at the end of the month (24-26). Looking somewhere 4 hours drive from DC to either direction but not NYC area. Kosher food in the area would be great but not necessary. Anyone has any ideas?

Williamsburg, Virginia? Under 3 hours away from DC.

Many chain hotels in the area from Carlson, Hilton, IHG, Marriott etc.. See the colonial area of town, and there are lots of (cold) beaches nearby.

Thank you, I'll take a look. Atlantic City with a baby won't be ideal especially not in the winter as much as we love the casinos.

If you're going to stay in Waikiki you may as well stay in Chicago :P

Kauai or Maui would be nice, but over budget.

never thought it would be so difficult to plan a vacation. everything sounds so similar from reading other ppl's posts.

all i wanted was a warm place to visit around 1/15 - 1/25 (yeshiva week). willing to spend on flights from CHI/ NYC + hotel/apt rental $2500. i'm so used to going on trips with kids, that i forgot how to plan without taking them.

So any ideas where to go (and why)?

[top choice was Hawaii, but unless i stay on Oahu it would put me way over budget.]
