My wife claims adamantly that they are edible.
Watch this inspiring video.

Are you sure?
About the edible part yes, about the taste part that can only be an opinion. Though they definitely are meant purely as a garnish and I would never eat one during a business meeting

I actually asked if they might be edible, AJK said absolutely no way, and then Chuck proceeded to eat his anyway :D
At which point we all donated our flowers to him...

Correction: Only took one bite. And you didn't donate them to me you threw them to me as I didn't have a choice.

Starting to plan my summer trip.
I'm thinking of doing a 3 week trip in August, Traveling with 3 kids ages 6,4 and a 6 month old infant.
Would like to do israel for a week and then a couple of European cities.
What European cities are doable with kids? any other ideas for stopovers to or from TLV?

As I sit in MCO waiting to go back home, I can't stop thinking about the next trip. I've been expecting it to be HI, but with EWR-HNL availability during the summer so hard to find (at least this far out), I started toying with the idea of MLE/BOB. Is there a discussion anywhere of the pros/cons of each? If not, can we have one here?
CMIIW:
- BOB has guaranteed OWB w/o fees at the IC Thalasso. MLE has the PH for an OWB but you need to pay a few hundred dollars per night to reserve it.
- Both have nice J/F options and require a few stops including a last short-haul in Y that has to be paid with cash.

Thanks for the link! I am under the impression that you can get to those places from LAX without flying Arab airlines. Am I wrong?

ETA: Now I see that BOB is much closer to America than MLE. Perhaps one can get to BOB w/o an Arab airline.

Your only choices for BOB from LAX are on TN or AF, both bookable with DL.

As I sit in MCO waiting to go back home, I can't stop thinking about the next trip.

Planning a trip now with a stopover in MCO on Jetblue. According to MCO website Jetblue uses gates 1-29, while United uses gates 30-59. Is there a post security connecting points between the two airsides, to be able to access the United lounge? Thanks.

Are you able to remember if you noticed?

I didn't notice that specific section, but you can get a map of the airport online. Each corner of the airport had it's own security for the gates in that corner. After security you take a train to your gates. If United and Jet Blue are in the same corner, you're golden. If not, it may be possible to avoid getting on the train and connect to the other gates near you, but I can't remember exactly. Find a map online.
