Gotcha.
FTR the HBBN only had one points day when I first searched for it.  Over the course of a week I kept grabbing other days that would open until I had them all booked.  At which point I cancelled them all and immediately rebooked it as a 6 night GLON for 37.5K/night.

HBBN?

The stars will have to truly align for me to be that lucky with the Conrad USM, considering I only have 6 days to make it happen, three of which are gone because of shabbas and yom tov.

Or... I could just book a premium room for the low, low price of 232,000 points per night::)

Like I said, it's very fluid. Only took me a week to go from 1 night to 6.
Book what you can and use my strategy.

It may definitely be possible for availability to open up at the Conrad KSM...I was also stuck with nothing and then one motsei shabbat, there was perfect availability for dec 23-27- high season! and I Booked it right away. I would check every day especially as you're going in low season

Currently booked as:

Su CX889, JFK-YVR-HKG, 10:40pm-6:55am +2
[in HKG for ~34 hours = All day Tu and most of We]
Wed CX703, HKG-BKK, 5:15pm-7:00pm
[at some point shortly thereafter, on some airline, go to CNX for 4.5 days -- don't currently plan on spending any time in BKK]
Mo CX702, BKK-HKG, 6:40pm-10:35pm
Tu CX888, HKG-YVR-JFK, 12:30am-7:00am

Maybe I should just cut out HKG, so that I go straight from HKG-CNX when I land.

NYC-HKG-CNX, land on Tuesday morning. Spend Tuesday afternoon, all of Wednesday, all of Thursday, and Friday morning in CNX, then jet to USM, get an AXON award from Friday-Tuesday.

Also, any "easy" way to get from CNX to MLE (I'm on mobile)?
Can fly w/ Bangkok airline, or whatever it's called.

Yeah, Bangkok Airways. Thanks.

A regular nonstop ticket is VERY expensive. You may want to look into their "discovery pass"

Thanks -- but at this point I'm just hoping to book Conrad USM in the end. Not worth MLE for the reasons mentioned above.

IIRC, they were somewhat complicated and we needed to fly to a couple different places?

Well, now that I am headed to USM, I should probably look into it, I guess.

With or w/o YQ?

This is where I am now:

Su CX889, JFK-YVR-HKG, 10:40pm-6:55am +2

[in HKG for ~34 hours = All day Tu and most of We]

Wed CX703, HKG-BKK 5:15pm-7:00pm
Wed, ??, BKK-CNX (Note: the reason I am not flying directly from HKG-CNX is because I already have booked this ticket, though I guess I can cancel it if necessary.)

[in CNX for 4.5 days]

Mon ??, CNX-USM

[in USM for 4.5 days]

Fri ??, USM-BKK

[in BKK for shabbas, no time to make it to SIN, unfortunately]

Then Saturday night or Sunday back to USA.

For the flights in bold, I looked into the Bangkok Airways Discovery Airpass, but unfortunately, because it requires at least three legs (which I currently have) AND is capacity controlled (middle flight, CNX-USM, is currently unavailable), it looks like I'm stuck paying $500 p/p for these flights on Bangkok Airways.

AirAsia doesn't fly to/from USM, and Skyscanner basically only checks Bangkok Airways and Thai, which is where I got the $500 p/p above.

Anyone have any better ideas?

Can you make it to Phnom Penh (Cambodia) to do shabbos there? it's a short flight from BKK... though unless you fly Air Asia, can be quite pricey...

Haven't yet been but it's been on my list for a long time...
