Is Italy worth doing with a pregnant wife? I'd like to go in August when she'll B"H be in her 7th month. Is it going to be hot and to much walking around for her? Is Thailand or Brazil/Argentina a better option? Thanks
where in Italy? i would rule out Thailand though

We got a letter when my wife flew pregnant as the airlines told us we'd need it after 28 weeks. The first airline we flew didn't ask to see it and so we forgot to take it for the second flight, when they did ask to see it. We had to get someone back home to fax it through. Yes, fax. When it finally came and they let us check in, the guy says, "Ma'am, you're late and the flight has just about completed boarding, please run through security." Then he looks at my very pregnant wife and says, "Or maybe just walk quickly."

Anyone besides Yehuda57 have issues?

I didn't have an issue because my wife wasn't 28 weeks but when I mentioned that she was pregnant (in the hope of them giving me a bulkhead seat), the woman at the counter asked me how far along she was. I'm assuming she was asking for this reason. Didn't seem like the type that was interested in making small talk.

I personally don't like the idea of an infant or pregnant woman in her third trimester traveling to a country with subpar medical care.

Just my own opinion.

+1, I wouldn't travel to a 3rd world country after 20 weeks or so.

Same situation :)
Due date early September, and want to go somewhere in August (I know it's cutting it close) so not too far. I feel like Miami is my only option. Too risky to leave the country, right?

I'd love to see someone convince a pregnant woman to go on those suspending bridges that Dan and AJK wrote about in their TRs .

I'd love to take a road trip out of tristate area for 5-6 days. Not too far but would love to end up somewhere exotic and supremely peaceful above all else. Any ideas? Points options a major plus but would be willing to shell out some cash. Doing flight trip end of June so this would be end of July.

I'd say Vancouver. That's just my educated guess.

Hocking hills
Did some research. Sure fits the requisite exotic. Somehow further drive than I expected but mayb I should just fly in for 4.5 avios. Plenty of availability. As far as accommodations, it seems to be basically bnb style or cheap motels. Have you been there and can recommend anything?

Canadian Maritimes
Looks beautiful as well. Not too feasible to drive in my allotted time but 4.5 avios could get me there easily. Accommodations seem to be easy there with some nice point options. Any specific recommendations? Also, given the scope of the Canadian maritime, I didn't delve too deeply. Where would I find seclusion?
