Flying to Israel sukkos time, and in all likelihood we'll be stopping over in Europe on the way. We'll only have a day to explore the stop over city, since we'll be flying on sun. before Yom Kippur. Any ideas on best options ( preferably a citi that I can use BA, or AC miles to get there ) ?

The funny part is, I wrote citi, instead of city, on the first part of my post, and corrected that one, but I missed the second typo. Anyways, anybody have any ideas ?

im assuming you want to go somewhere new. Where have you been so far? You can cover most of the sightseeing in Paris in one day...

Good assumption. I should have added that in. We've been too London, Moscow, and planning to do Venice on the return.

Not sure about availability of flights but cyprus is a beautiful place to see

I would do Amsterdam, it can be done mostly in a day if you start early enough.

Can Cypress be done in a < one day stopover?

No city can really be fully explored in one day but I think it's enough to get the feel of it and see most of the interesting places. Bear in mind though that a lot of places are closed on Sunday so factor that into your research
