Depends how thoroughly you want to cover it. Any of them can technically be "done" in that amount of time. Bear in mind that Banff doesn't have anything for Shabbos so if you want minyanim/meals you would have to leave sometime on Friday & go to Calgary or somewhere

Denver you can get award nights at hotels. In Banff its much harder. Phoenix is very hot unless your up for that. A Much better trip winter time. Banff is nicer & more majestic. Vail, Beaver Creek have fun attractions not too far from there

Its about 2 hours away IIRC. Check google maps. They have cattle herding, white water rafting a nice lake to chill at, hiking, horseback riding etc. etc.

Trying to figure out where to go... Here's what I'm looking for.

I like relaxing nature (hikes are not my taste).
Preferably within North America.
Prefer to fly on real good J/F product.

Canadian Rockies? (CX NYC to YVR)

Canadian Rockies are not in YVR, it's a totally different mountain range.

If you want to stay in North America, the only "real good J/F product" is that.
It's a great option, and even has a really nice kosher restaurant to boot

Why do you prefer to stay in North America?

Canadian rockies is a great choice for relaxing nature - fly into Calgary. No nice products for that though...

you can technically fly jfk-yvr-yyc, I agree though that vancouver is a really good all seasons destination
