The hotel has 2 pools and a jacuzzi, if that helps.
Life is as good as you make it...

In regard to hotel see ^^. In regard to bear mountain idk about a 2 year old but a 4 year old can definitely do some of the easier trails for a little while.

Canadian Rockies are not in YVR, it's a totally different mountain range.

If you want to stay in North America, the only "real good J/F product" is that.
It's a great option, and even has a really nice kosher restaurant to boot

Why do you prefer to stay in North America?

Canadian rockies is a great choice for relaxing nature - fly into Calgary. No nice products for that though...
The only direct flights with first class I can find (CMIIW) NYC-YYC is AC which flies an "Embraer E190" with no flat beds so I was thinking if I anyway make a stopover it might as well be in YVR.

United flight 8507 is operated by AC. Westjet doesn't have first.

Do you have any insights on where I should go? would the Canadian Rockies be my best choice?

I am a big fan of a place that has kosher food that you can sit down & be served. Vancouver has that. However, Whistler is the nice part of that area. and CX flies there too.

Banff is nicer than Whistler majestic wise. same lack of kosher food in both places

Just go to YVR. You'll spend a whole day getting to and from YYC if you connect in YVR. If you need a good product than do YVR
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

I would appreciate any input.

I'm looking for an area that has vacation home rentals with a private pool . the area must have a shul, Kosher food and nice weather (not Florida) would like to go for 10 days in August.

Any ideas would be helpful
TIA

Looking for a trip within a 4 hour plane or driving distance from NYC. Preferably tropical with cool sights and possibly rain forests. Also, dont want to go away for a shabbos, something from a Sunday- friday and anything in between

Any advice would be a great help!

Also have Amex points to use.

Thanks!

You ain't gona be driving to a rainforest from NYC. Look into Puerto Rico. Flight is 4 hours. Or if you want a little more exotic and tropical consider going to Costa Rica (although flights are a bit over 5 hours)
