I decided on Bahamas. Already booked flights 27.5K RT and Hilton cash and points for 16k plus $65

Which Hilton? If I was looking at Bahamas but I think I'd go with Atlantis/Marriott.

I don't have enough Marriott points and don't want to pay $300+ for Atlantis.

True that's where the fun is at. But people not staying there come to visit all the time too, day passes.

Just btw Atlantis has an offer to pay $250 of your airfare with a 4 night stay. And idk if you would consider this as an option but there's a casino promotion to get 4 free nights with 6 hours play (can even be slots)

I saw that. Only going for 3 nights, and would still be out of price range anyways.

I'll look into the promotion when I get there.

I am looking to plan a trip to literally anywhere. The motivation for this is that my family is in the states for a few weeks, and, well, why not make an adventure out of it!

I have from now till Aug 27th. Leaving from TLV.

Anyone have any suggestions on finding VERY cheap flights. Location and date isn't as important (over shabbat is doable).

Check Wizzair for flights and see if you have any interest in their destinations. If you fly into Bulgaria you can stay there for a bit (great cheap Spg hotel there) & drive down to Greece & maybe take a cheap flight to an island with Aegean

Check out kayak.com/explore, or use google flights and you can search from TLV to other areas (ex: you can type "Europe" into the destination).
Also, check out the app called "hulyo" (h/t moish).

I am not seeing bulgaria as an option there. Also, I don't really have points to use unfortunately.

It will come up on their list as Sofia (a city in Bulgaria). Hotels are dirt cheap here even without points

I didn't think of Atlanta, I thought of NOLA. Texas is an interesting Idea (although I'm not sure how long the flight is). I assume the two options are Dallas & Houston? Is there anything in Austin?

I was gonna head to the Master Threads for those cities, but it looks like NOLA & Dallas are the only ones

Atlanta and Houston should both have master threads. And there is also San Antonio.
