Atlanta and Houston should both have master threads. And there is also San Antonio.
I stand (in this case sit) corrected, they weren't on the Master Thread Of Master Threads. I'll add them.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Looking for a really nice Cat 4 Marriott (free night award) within two or so hours of Monsey. The only criteria are that it should be near water (on a lake?) and be a quiet area.
Thanks.

I think "really nice" and "Cat 4 Marriott" are an oxymoron.

Lol, agreed.  :) I meant good bang for your buck - nicer location than most, or newly renovated, or a better chain hotel in a less popular area, etc...

I'm not familiar with it, but if you're asking, then it probably is.  ;)

+1 I was there a few months back, and was very nice. Besides the small pools and hot tub, there isn't much to do there. Rooms are a bit dated but nice enough. If you mind walking, then make sure to get a room close to the elevators, some rooms can be a real shlep to get too.

I'd be careful at any one of the name brand places near JFk. Lots of shenanigans go on there. Drug dealing, prostitution etc.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

Yosemite, Joshua tree, sequoia...camping trip bring a grill some tents and sleeping bags. Doesn't get much cheaper than that and it's quite beautiful.
