Is it worth doing it with small kids just for the resort itself without doing any activities?
I was at the andaz. Definitely worth it.
If your going to use dsu anyway why not  the grand hyatt PDC? Depending on dates, their cash rates where pretty cheap

Several options in Thailand most certainly. Lots of TRs to read on Ddf and much experience here on Thailand.

Koh samui, Phuket and koh phi phi always get a very good rep. I will be doing koh samui in the summer myself.

You're flying to the other end of the world for 3 days just to spend 2 days at a beach?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Looking to go away (from NJ) with the wife for a 4 days mid Jan, what could you recommend someplace warm, with Minyan?
Are there any daily minyanim in the Caribbean?

Thanks!

It has been brought to my attention (thank you Benjie1305) that I should bring a pan with fresh food to have the on-board chef on my EY fight cook for us. What do y'all think.

We would be the only passengers on the ~13 hour flight so i do not think it would make the chef crazy. Rather keep him occupied for a little.

Obviously this is hypothetical, and I would like to hear pros and cons.

So lets assume this isn't about Kashrus per se. Lets assume that is all taken care of and the laws are kept. Or even better, lets assume this isn't a Jew but a non Jew asking about their allergies and having the chef prepare the meal to make sure the non Jew can eat it. Or even better, lets just ask Mesh. Now go.

In the mood to burn some of my AA miles. I'm thinking of going to Asia with my wife and 2 year-old in august for just over a week. I strongly prefer a location easily accessible via OW J (or F). Would prefer a place where it won't be raining all day of a sauna in August.

Ideas (aside for HKG)? How much is the longest I should plan on staying in HKG? What cities are good for 2 year-olds? Where's a good city to stay over shabbos?

You need like 2-3 days in HKG and should go to CNX.

That's an option, but I think will be too hot/wet in August. Anywhere with better weather then?
