At the risk of being stoned for asking a question that has probably been asked a million times (I searched and could not find other than thaber's question a few posts up) I'm looking for the absolute best points hotel within 3-5 hour drive from NYC and minyanim for a 2 day getaway. We have a toddler and infant so activites for them (rly just the toddler) would be a plus, but we could work that out wherever we go. Thanks!

Thank You! I know there are plenty of destinations in driving distance with point hotels and minyan (Washington DC, Philly,  Hershey, Newport...) my question is whats the nicest hotel of those or other destinations. After all, ddf has raised our standards quite a bit ;)

what do you mean by nice? What is your points budget? There is a park Hyatt in DC and a St Regis as well.

if you are looking for a points "resort" near a minyan within 3-5 hours driving distance of NYC you won't find one

Yea I guess i should have provided more specifics: If its "the right hotel" I would prob be willing to spend the max amounts, and i diddnt know about those hotels,  so thank you.
I dont think I am looking for a "resort",  but we are much more into scenery or ocean views than views of the monument,  but we will take what we can get...

Any ideas for a nice vacation around NJ? We are willing to fly for around a hour, since we only going for one full day of actual vacation, and we will fly or drive the day before at night and the day after in the morning.
ETA: kosher food is a big plus.

Anyone have ideas where I could rent a house big enough for a few families for a few days.  Somewhere between NYC and Toronto/montreal area?

Did anyone here stay at Nemacolin Woodlands Resort in western PA? Any kosher options nearby?
