At the risk of being stoned for asking a question that has probably been asked a million times (I searched and could not find other than thaber's question a few posts up) I'm looking for the absolute best points hotel within 3-5 hour drive from NYC and minyanim for a 2 day getaway. We have a toddler and infant so activites for them (rly just the toddler) would be a plus, but we could work that out wherever we go. Thanks!

Bali is amazing, with stunning resorts and beaches and cool cultural stuff too.  The island is Hindu not Muslim.  You get to see the cows running around without all the extreme poverty of India. 😋  Could do a nice stop in Singapore or Hong Kong for Shabbos.

Can route through HKG on Cathay Pacific or SIN on SQ with direct flights from both of those cities.  100k RT on Cathay Pacific in J via Alaska points is a smokin' deal, 140k RT for F (actually the same number of points as if you only flew to Hong Kong) if you've got SPG points to transfer.

1) problem is availability....lol I cant plan last minute (and esp if opens close in, will have to wait until transfer goes thru). I want F not J
2) I prefer to try different airline (already done Cathay & HKG..lol)
3) I will check SQ
4) I saw Emirates has availability thru Alaska but crazy mile amount.

Ok I think my questions now have gotten too broad for the Boston thread. I am planning on taking a 3 day vacation with the family. One day we plan on going to edaville USA which is in Carver, MA. Now need to figure out what to do the other 2 days. Carver is pretty close to Boston , Newport and providence. Anyone have any suggestions which way to go. After edaville looking for more relaxing stuff to do with a 5 and 3 year old. Thanks
