Not looking for secret. Just any ideas? I didn't like Cancun , so wanted some other Ideas or suggestions.  Was thinking Caymen Islands or Bermuda or etc?

Forgive me, I thought when you said near NY you meant within a few hours driving in which case I was replying facetiously being that I don't believe there exist such a place.
Now that I understand you better- how about the Bahamas ?

I fixed it.  Bermuda over the other places? are there activities to do there? In Caymen there is not much to do there except stingray city....

It's a longer flight but what about Phoenix/Scottsdale? Tons of points options for flights and hotels and 6-7 good restaurants...super low stress vacation with no planning for food.   No scuba but can hang out all day at pools and lazy river or lots to do if you want to venture out.

Are there specific hyatt or ihg hotels that you can recommend in phoenix.  Do you need to rent a car. Any shuttles to hotels?

I've stayed at SPG and Hiltons but DDFers like the Hyatt Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale.  I'd definitely rent a car if it's more than a couple days or you are staying in Scottsdale, not Central Phoenix.

Trying to plan a trip to TLV and DPS.

So far I have the following:

LAX-ZRH-TLV on LX in J
TLV-HKG-DPS on CX in J
DPS-ICN-LAX on KE in F

The question is, which option is best:

(1) Arrive in TLV on Wed (3:50am) and leave Sunday, arrive DPS Monday afternoon (3pm) and leave Thursday (11:30pm), arrive back in LAX 10:30am Friday.

This would allow 4 days in TLV and 3.5 days in DPS, 11 days away.

Concern: Flying TLV-DPS for only 3.5 days on the ground

(2) Arrive in TLV on Wed (3:50am) and leave Sunday, arrive DPS Monday afternoon (3pm) and leave Thursday (4:30pm), arrive in HKG/CNX/USM/PVG/ICN for shabbos, leave Sunday/Monday/Tues to fly back to LAX.

This would allow 4 days in TLV, 3 days in DPS and 2-4 days in HKG/CNX/USM/PVG/ICN, 13-15 days away.

Concerns: Spending shabbos in a city without an eruv (we have a baby in a stroller), cost of extra flights DPS-HKG, already been to HKG and less time in DPS

(3) Arrive in TLV on Thu (3:50am) and leave the following Sunday, arrive DPS Monday afternoon (3pm) and leave Thursday (11:30pm), arrive back in LAX 10:30am Friday.

This would allow 10 days in TLV and 3.5 days in DPS, 17 days away.

Concerns: Flying TLV-DPS for only 3.5 days on the ground

BahamasAtlantis, very nice pools and water activities. no kosher food. hotel depends some are nicer then others.
Bermuda?
Grand Caymen beautiful beaches. stingray city, horseback on the beach. and limited kosher food. only thing to do is beaches. so any bad weather there is literally nothing to do
Purto Ricoalso very nice. many hotels to choose from. many water and non water activites. some kosher food(which was pretty decent) CON: ZIKA INFESTED
Dominican Republic.?

Hmmm Does that mean prices are dirt cheap in PR now? Anything to be worried about Zika other then pregnancies?

Only one without Zika is probably BDA.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

a local there told me how his friend, a BDA customs agent, has never seen this many pregnant women come through in his life!

So I'm back to the drawing board. Any body have any suggestions  not to far from NY (3-4 hour flight) that has nice hotels, Beautiful not packed beaches (snorkeling, scuba) that has other activities as well
and Not zika infested! (I guess a few cases here and there are ok) (Late Nov)

i believe i read somewhere over here that the many hotels in the Caribbean take care of the mosquitoes by themselves. you might want to call some of them and find out for yourself. bahamas is not infested.
