Dubai also has a beautiful small Jewish community if you want to go for Shabbos. PM me if you want more info on the Jewish community.

I should have mentioned that one week out of the two or three will probably be spent cruising to the continent chosen for vacation (either asia, Africa or Europe) so on the ground would prob be less than two weeks. is abu dhabi any interesting for kids/teenagers as an addition?

How about Thailand and Singapore, since such a quick flight.

Ok,

Hi all looking for some input

DW and I have just under a week to vaca/honeymoon... Need to be home (ORD) on Tuesdays so we can leave Tuesday early afternoon and need to be back by Monday night latests...

Originally wanted to do MLE (If anyone has res PLEASE PM me) however can't seem to find a res that'll work for the SR...

Other ideas are the Far East or the land down under...

Can we do those in a week? Ideas of which country to visit if we go with the far east? Any other suggestions/input?
(DW isn't super excited about a short Europe trip so we're gonna save that for the summer IYH)

ORD seems to have a nice selection of flights if I need to position myself

CX to HKG
NH to Tokyo
EK to Dubai
QF to Doha
LH to MUC or FRA

or LAX/SFO/YVR

Definitely want to do this in J/F, BH I have more then enough UR and a significant amount of MR.

AS, AA, SPG and TYP are all at around 100K+

Appreciate all and any input!

ETA, Zika is a concern and HNL (for now-waiting for an answer) is an issue with Shabbos

You need more than a week to do Thailand as you will spend 2/7 days traveling and only be left with 5 days of vacation

It's technically enough time. And even 3 weeks is not enough to do the entire Thailand.

I would like to burn some AA miles. Any know off hand if AA has any flights routes to a european destination that usually has saaver availability? I am looking at the obvious places and coming up with nothing.

Also, what's the best airlines to look for availability (affordable - delta is 175k OW) to go F or J to Rome from NYC.

It's not a joke. I know you wrote about it many time but I am so frustrated that I cannot use my miles. There is NOTHING to book. I thought you wrote that recently AA has been releasing some sAAver award space. Its ridiculous.

I have found a day here and a day there to Madrid and BCN in the Winter. Not a day to Rome or Zurich.

Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

Enough time for what? To experience what's truly unique to Thailand or to be cooped up in a luxurious villa for 5 days?
If the former, then that amount of time is enough. More may be ideal but you're working with what you have. Thailand is one if those places people return to.

I was already planning on going to Europe this summer but now I'm thinking that I want to also take the CDG-AUH flight in EY F since they're going to have an A380 on the route for the summer. The problem is I'm trying to figure out where to go from there, it doesn't really make sense to fly to AUH just to experience EY F, spend a day or two and then fly back (or maybe it does?)
