I like that idea. Which is why I did it last December. I've also done, DC, Vancouver, Los Angeles, Dallas, and Chicago. Haven't officially done Boston, but I lived there for a few years and my family likes be tourists in our own city, so I've done most of what it has to offer.Been thinking about that.I hadn't thought of that, the combination of SD and SF might be a good idea. I'll look into that. Thanks.

If you've already done those cities, Denver might be fun and could also combine with SF or SD on the way back home.

Thinking of getting away for two or three days if we can find someone to watch the kids. Vail Colorado vs Banff, or any other suggestions. Traveling from NJ.

Are you looking to hike and do things like that or just to relax?

You could do Utah but limiting yourself to 2-3 days would be a shame there, there's so much to do.

Even that amount of time is quite a stretch primarily due to childcare but also because of limited vacation time
