Nothing. Its my 3rd time. Love it, but 2.5/3 days is enough. Id like to hop over to somewhere new for a day or two.

LHR? ZRH? VIE? AMS? MAD? BCN?

BCN and MAD don't have food. But ya along those lines. Which one would be best for a family in Oct.
 SPG/Hyatt wise too.

LHR is expensive, but a good two day trip. There is a hyatt which is fine:comfortable but nothing like the rest of Europe. Don't know SPG situation.
I think MAD or BCN has  food (check the master threads, there was a lot of recent discussion about hashgacha)
AMS also sounds cool, never been

If you've never been to LHR I would probably go there. A ton of food. Gotta see the crown jewels, etc. Dan would tell you to go elsewhere

VIE seems to be good idea. "moish" just wrote a nice TR on Vienna. Seems nice, easy and family friendly.

It's fine for a day or 2.
I just think it's funny when people tell me they're going to spend a week in London :o

Or any Hawaiian island, etc.
But there are some cities where you can spend a week and not be bored out of your mind (e.g. Paris) and others where you will be bored out of your mind (e.g. Detroit).

Hawaiian island doesn't count, it's not a city but a whole island
Even Paris I couldn't imagine being there for a week

Kauai is less than half the size of some cities and smaller than most.  Not sure why being "a whole island" should make it an exception.

I was in Paris for 4 days and 2 days and didn't repeat stuff and didn't do everything, so I don't think I'd go crazy in a week there.

Thanks!
Regarding LHR..I've thought about it. But I really don't think I'm up for spending time and money in a country where one of the main attraction is a ferris wheel.

I'll look more into VIE..thanks everyone
