Anyone ever been to Virginia?
Trying to plan a weekend for 5-10 families, this spring or early summer.
We have our own minyan, so we don’t need a Jewish community.
Any advice?
Is it best to try to find a bunch of Airbnb’s next to each other or a small hotel?
Virginia is a big place
You can stay in Luray and explore Luray Caverns and Shenandoah NP.

Might be an overstatement. But it is truly a beautiful place.
Def top 5 natural beauty I have ever seen. I guess I haven't been around enough or I have weird taste. Interested what everyone else thinks is incredible besides various alps, caribbean waters and the like (all of which I'm an incredible fan of).

Yup. Lots of big ski chalet-style airbnbs in the area as well.

Off the top of my head just for North America, Banff/Lake Louise, Bryce, Arches, Waimea Canyon, and Na Pali are all more beautiful than Sedona.

Agree with the list, but calling Kauai "North America" is a shtickel stretch.

Also, Alaska.

Specifically?

Well Alaska is gigantic and stunning pretty much anywhere. As for specific locations, Crescent Lake in Lake Clark NP, Matanuska Glacier, Denali, Glenn Highway, and the Seward Highway are serious standouts.

And I'm guessing Niagara Falls wouldn't qualify because the main falls are on the Canadian side?

Also, Alaska.

The pictures you've posted are certainly breathtaking.

I know because its as tired as thinking miami and la are the only place you can vacation in.

However (this might sound corny to some), I do think that Niagara Falls, no matter how accustomed to it one has become even to the point of being bored by it, is still quite a powerful show of G-d's creation. Other falls as well. But thats perhaps because I personally think waterfalls are stunning and as has been discussed everyone has their personal taste.

No. Because all I did was eliminate HI, AK and the territories.

Looking for a suggestion for a "caribbean  type" destination that has chabad/shabbat services. (besides Cancun, Cayman  and Turks & Caicos). TY

Me and the Mrs. need a high class refreshing/natural getaway. we were considering the Post-Ranch Inn in Big Sur, but kosher etc. may be annoying there. any other ultra luxe (but understated/quiet) options for a 3 night getaway people would suggest (and of course, any deals preferred as that place is $$$$)? assuming May before Shavuos, and so likely nowhere intl.  Not really considering cancun/banyan tree etc (been there twice and still scared of zika)
