Yup.
DFW, IAH, PHX, ABQ, TUS, SAN, LAX, etc. all good options.
Scottsdale is terrific.

Did ATl last year as well. Doing Charleston this year. Have done New Orleans as well, just make sure there are no festivals going on, when you want to go. Dallas is another one we've done.

Thanks. will research food and minyan these.

Easiest food and minyan will be Scottsdale. Plenty of VRBO near shul for rent, though its possible that for winter break, you may be a bit late to the party. Dallas, has a hotel within the eiruv, Cooper Hotel, that we stayed at, that is within a few minutes of 2 shuls. Can pick up takeout in a couple of the supermarkets. Didn't stay in New Orleans for shabbos, so didn't look into walking distance to shul places to stay, but can get food from Kosher Cajun.

Just came to post that Houston was a consideration but not easy for shabbos. I'll check out Scottsdale

Trying to put together a trip with the family for the summer
I have heard there are some cheaper off the beaten path countries(Eastern Europe etc) beach or mountain destination that have kosher food at very decent prices.
Any leads?

Looking to go to Switzerland, landing Monday morning staying till Wednesday night, and then spend Shabbos in Venice. Two questions, 1 where in Switzerland would I best utilize my time? Seems like most people I speak to stayed in Davos but open to anywhere. Going to be bringing food so don't need to work around that. And 2, I would want to drive to Venice, leaving Wednesday night and spend the night in a hotel on Lake Como, would it make sense to rent a car one-way rental or would it make more sense to get a car service?
