DW and I are supposed to go to Nice/Monte Carlo Thanksgiving weekend. I was a little hesitant because I know that it's close to rainy season - like several European countries closer to the Mediterranean - and a lot of things may be closed because it's a shoulder season.
We don't have tickets booked back yet, so I'm not worried about having to pay to change award flights.
Currently we're leaving Wednesday night from JFK arriving in LHR on Thursday, spending a full day/night and leaving from LHR to NCE on Friday. We'll be in Monte Carlo through Shabbas, with plans to leave Monday morning.
Having a lot of second thoughts on NCE/Monte Carlo. We don't mind the cold, though 50s-60s would be preferred. In Europe, we've done Paris and will be doing FCO, VCE, MLA and DBV soon.
TIA.
