Conference in Honolulu week of Jan 22-26.
If I go on the Thurs before the sun of jan 22, and stay for a full week, do I stay in Honolulu the whole time, or do I go to a 2nd island?  Where do I spend Shabbos?

Can't go earlier in the previous week?

You're really pushing, you know?  ;D
So give me both answers.  If I can what should I do, and if I can't.

I would just to HNL unless you can leave earlier in the week, in which case there are arguments for any one of the outer islands.

you are probably best off with Europe as hawaii and thailand need more than 7 days to do them properly

DW and I are supposed to go to Nice/Monte Carlo Thanksgiving weekend. I was a little hesitant because I know that it's close to rainy season - like several European countries closer to the Mediterranean - and a lot of things may be closed because it's a shoulder season.

We don't have tickets booked back yet, so I'm not worried about having to pay to change award flights.

Currently we're leaving Wednesday night from JFK arriving in LHR on Thursday, spending a full day/night and leaving from LHR to NCE on Friday. We'll be in Monte Carlo through Shabbas, with plans to leave Monday morning.

Having a lot of second thoughts on NCE/Monte Carlo. We don't mind the cold, though 50s-60s would be preferred. In Europe, we've done Paris and will be doing FCO, VCE, MLA and DBV soon.

TIA.

I was in ZRH, Grundenwald (Alps), VCE, FCO in Nov, the weather was PERFECT not cold and not hot.

Looking for a warm place with beaches in January - Zika free - besides Hawaii. Anything else or Zika screwed us?

I'd rather stay local but can travel if needed. What do you got?

For a couple, not a long flight from NY,  somewhere warm with beautiful water for swimming (scuba?)  with nice points hotels...(or cheap $) Kosher food A+ with enough things to do for a few days.
