We did the conrad for 3 days and then Venice for shabbos. It was certainly enjoyable. Time kinda just seems to stop in the Maldives so it was an extremely relaxing time. Granted I didn't do it with a kid, so if you think your kids up for it, I would go. I'm assuming your flying j or up that is...
yes for sure j. my child will be two in sept. and thats why i think just going for three days to mle is more than enough for us. any more and she might start going crazy. where did you fly from?

3 days is definitely good there, I didn't want to stay for shabbos so that's pretty much the most you can get
We did Tlv-isr-mle
Mle-ist-vce
Mxp-tlv

We went in mid August last year.
When we got to mle it was raining, cloudy that day at the conrad and the next morning.
The afternoon and the next 2 days the weather was gorgeous.

The weather could change often and each island can vary.

We actually started in nyc so we stocked up on frozen meals from there.

PSA in ist they board really early like 45-60 min before takeoff and we were walking there 40 min before and the board started saying last call...

I can't remember exactly but I think it was 8:30 or 9:45 pm. The flight from ist leaves at 2:00 am if I recall correctly so that's why it would land around noon

It's a nice place for a shabbos not sure how how tourist friendly it is if you don't have meals by people in the community.
Not much to do in zrh, but gorgeous attractions within an hour train would be Lucerne, Mt pilatus, boat ride there.
The transportation muesum there is amazing and super kid friendly so look Into that.
Also the Rhine falls is a nice day trip.
Obviously the main attractions in Switzerland is the alps but those are probably 2 hours plus away from zrh.

Sun-Fri
Somewhere nice and not too hot.
Nice beaches A+. Kosher food would be A+
Within a few hour from NY (flight)
Was thinking Hawaii but can't find any business mileage tickets (non-stop only, and too far for coach > :-[)
Not really interested in the Islands, some activities to do would be great as well.

you said not to far and not an island, then proceeded to say a place that violates both rules. I'm confused.

But if you want somewhere in US maybe go to Smoky Mountains TN. Absolutely gorgeous, and plenty to do there.

I didn't enjoy Cancun that much, and Panama was there already (for a short time, but looking for something new)
T&C was beautiful but crazy expensive and I really want something new.

Marriott actually has the ability to view all options with a kitchenette. Unusual to find that two bedroom suite and for connecting rooms will need to call the hotel.

Punta Cana is nice and cheap but the beaches are a little dirty.
St. Thomas & St. John are probably some of the nicest beaches in the area but people have complained about sand bug bites at night
luckily my hotel was on a cliff higher up.

Bahamas is too crowded
Belize is nice but too poor the infrastructure
Grand Cayman was lovely very very expensive.
Aruba is gorgeous as well

Cancun is a solid choice if you didn't like it
That's only due to your hotel you stayed at
the weather and beaches are divine

if you want more of a island feel go across the water to Cozumel

Thanks!

That I knew and have been searching, but like you said, need to check each hotel for connecting or 2 Bdrm Suite. Was hoping someone had the actual knowledge. :)

Looking for non-zika June/July vacation for up to a week.  Would also consider a shorter 3-4 day trip.

Ideally, a location with points hotels and kosher food.  Have no done the majority of Europe (only Paris and a day in London).

Was considering flying EK F to Athens and spending time in Mykonos and Santorini?

-Marriott property with a 2 bedroom suite or 2 connecting rooms (that they give for points).

Also, check out their timeshares here because they all have kitchens and 2Br units:
http://www.marriottvacationclub.com/

Marriott Newport Coast is AMAZING and is a Cat 8 and they only have 2brms so that IS their base room (can buy a week cert here on DDF).  Closest to fly into SNA but LAX or San Diego would also work.  Views are stunning.  Awesome kids club, beautiful beach right down the hill, Trader Joe's around the corner and a Kosher market and restaurant relatively close.  Some nice other ones with 2BRMs serviced by Southwest in Orlando, Phoenix and Vail that I've been to.  You could do the same thing by converting to SPG and staying at their timeshares https://www.vistana.com/ (think Westin Lagunamar in Cancun and Kierland Villas in Scottsdale, that DDFers love).
