So I've decided that traveling around a bunch family of four small children is a bad idea. Looking for somewhere to stop on a return NYC-TLV for 7 or 8 days. Maybe one or max two places - with a VRBO with a pool, walking distance to a shul where we can do small family friendly day trips. Was thinking either something in the Alps or Spain? Or somewhere in Italy (Naples? Cinque Terre?)?
Open to ideas...

Trying to find a quick two day family trip. Somewhere close to Long Island (within three or four hour drive. I see Great Wolf Lodge and Camelback and those are options but if possible would love something slightly more luxurious and if possible in the vicinity of kosher food. Really the only qualification is that it is kid friendly and has activities for kids ranging from 2 to 7.TIA

Any more ideas?
I wonder how many miles I've scrolled with my finger

Paris
Amsterdam
Zurich/Alps
Rome/Venice

Probably would help if you added what type of vacation you are looking for. What do you enjoy?

Looking for a rough itinerary of 3-4 months of backpacking from March-July. I've already done most of Europe, Guatemala, Panama, Cuba, Colombia and Peru in C./S. America, and Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia in SE Asia.

It's the rain season down in S. America then, so, not sure that is the best place to be headed.

Thinking India-Burma-Laos-Cambodis but open to other suggestions.

Also curios if anyone would want to meet up along the path over Pesach.

Hey! Doesn't seem like you've tried the Middle East. Deserts in Iraq, Syria pique your interest? We can meet up in ancient Egypt for Pesach  ;D

Thanks! From your reply it sounds like it's probably too cold to properly enjoy the canyon (especially with kids)?

Would you recommend New Orleans or Charlston, South Carolina with teenagers in the winter?

New Orleans has more in the way of kosher as well as Jewish community where to be for shabbos.
