Can someone explain to me what families do when staying at hotels with a family bigger then 4 people? Is their anyway to get around the 4 person max in a room?

Option A: Get a suite
Option B: Get connecting rooms
Option C: sneak the rest of the kids in

The suites are way more money then even two rooms and they don't have connecting rooms. So I guess sneaking the kids in it is...

If you can get a base room with points you can try calling hotel to buy up to a suite. Marriott also let's points for room plus cash upgrade for suites.

MXP? BCN could also work on its own without the rest of Spain. Antwerp and Zurich  have food but not enough to do.

Assuming you don't want to fly to the Mediterranean as Greece could work also.

Any thoughts about Nice? Or too much anti semitism?
I don't mind flying to Greece, it's actually on the bucket list but we wouldn't stay in Athens - we would go to another island and that may be too much travel for a short add on.

Going from BWI to LAX with an extra day in between. Looking to go out somewhere out West to a scenic place for 24 hours.
Have BA Avios

Personally didn't go but I know it's doable. SFO weather should be great then and I enjoyed a couple days there. There's also Muir woods right there which is nice.

Thanks but looking more in the middle of US or not the West Coast per say unless there is something closer to Redwood or Oregon that makes sense.

Nearish Redwood is Lassen Volcanic and Crater Lake.  Both nice options.  Did the three as a small road trip one year.

As an aside, since you mentioned Redwood, Redwood is actually farther north than NYC.

What time of year?  If not the height of summer, the obvious stopover on AA would be Phoenix and you could do some cool desert jeep tours, a hot air balloon over beautiful scenery and great kosher restaurants as well.
