Anyone have any ideas where I could go at the end of June with a 3 month old? Looking to get away for like a week to 10 days and its gotta be safe. I have plenty of BA avios, united, and ur. For hotels I have 4 Hyatt nights, and plenty of spg. I'm willing to shell out bout $1k for flights if I can't find award availability. We wanna do some infant friendly activities, not just sit on a beach, though to get some of that in would also be nice.Jewish area with babysitters is definitely a plus. Is this la/SD or any other ideas?  Thanx in advance.

I was thinking LA right away... What are your interests and where have you been before that you liked?

thanx I figured LA was my best bet. I would do Miami/Orlando if it wasn't so hot during the summer.

Looking to put together a vacation for next year to some kind of tropical beach paradise.
I am only asking for help this far in advance is so i can get an idea of which points i should focus on getting this year to get the most out of my trip.

I am looking to do this trip over 7-9 days including travel days.
I do like the idea of the Maldives but it seems like it takes a lot of traveling and multiple planes/speedboats to get to any of the hotels. Would really appreciate ideas of anywhere else i can go that can get me a similar experience and what would be the best way to get there and where to stay.
(Not including Hawaii)
I am not tied down to 7-9 days, if something makes sense for a shorter stay i am ok with that. Preferably would be someplace i can spend a few days and be back home for shabbat.

TIA

Seems that there is a plane transfer for $400-$500 (unless this changed) which i would rather avoid. Does Moorea have any nice places?

What would be some good options to fly there?

Thanks!

What about going to Hawaii and renting a private place off the water somewhere?

My in-laws cruise to Hawaii almost twice a year and are more then willing to take us. Don't want to "waste" my miles on a trip i can get for free :)   (understood rentinga private place and taking a cruise are different, but...)

Friend went there last year and had a great time.

the $400 plane transfer is also in the Maldives. It's the price you have to pay in order to get to your private OWB.

Thailand? You can get a private villa for a few days and tour/ do activities around the rest of the country the rest of the time.

Otherwise New Zealand? Australia? Cape Town? Buenos Aires?

I am coming to terms with the $400 RT flight to the island.   Can someone advise which airline/s / alliance would get me to Bora Bora so i know what to stockpile? Would also like to know which hotel chain i can get the OWB and how many miles/points it would cost per night.

Once again, i greatly appreciate the help!

AA is around 75K to Tahiti in coach I believe. 125K in business but almost impossible to find availability.

Any other airline that can get me there with better availability? Is availability better booking around a year in advance?

DL miles are the most versatile, but you'll pay YQ on TN, though not on AF.

Sa CX0889 JFK-YVR, 11:00pm-12:50am +1
[The Westin Bayshore 3 nights]
Tu AS704 YVR-LAX, 1:20pm-4:16pm

I'm about to pull the trigger for JFK-YVR CX F...

ETA: Holy c*** BA.com hasn't been responding for last 15 minutes. Tried 3 computes, 4 browsers, and every incognito possible.....I guess it ain't meant to be.

Seems like it's down for everyone.
