Personally I'd do Banff, but I vacation differently than you do

Mexico and Burmuda can be done year round. Banff has a small window with warm weather.

Meanwhile I'd choose Banff either way. Seems the most exciting to me.

Did you take in mind that Dan will be taking along his 2 year old?

Yes. I can see how one of the other destinations might be easier but unless he's going to go without the children one day or wants to wait until 'the kids are older' I don't see a reason why you couldn't go with one 2 year old.

Nothing wrong with evaluating options.

Love the quote, though.

And it continues... Cancun. :-[

For those who have been to both, do you prefer Cancun or Costa Rica? And why?

I'm back in NY for more that 2 months already, I'm starting to itch for a new adventure.

First I was thinking Kenya etc....but it seems it ain't so safe to do on your own these days.

Right now I'm considering starting in Croatia and moving my way north through several of the eastern European countries.

What do you guys think? any other recommendations?

(Ideally, I would start the trip end of July/August from NYC-LON etc... - Would like to end it in Uman beginning of September)

I am a web developer/designer I work while traveling.
I did one my largest projects on the beach in Egypt (When skyping with the executive board, they told me the beach wallpaper in my office looks so real)

That's a Jewish thing. New York, as it happens, is very Jewish.

I'm having off from work for a long July 4 weekend, but there's rain everywhere! is there anywhere in the tri-state area, or the entire east coast for that matter, where it won't be raining this weekend? or does anyone have any good rain vacation ideas?
