which part of Nevada is it I was in vages and by the grand canyon . Is there manien for shabbes ? Any kosher food there
The state border goes down the middle of the lake. Tahoe City is in California on the northern side of the lake and there are a few cities in Nevada on the south side of the lake. Tahoe is in northern Nevada nowhere near Las Vegas.

Sometimes in the summer people go  and there is a minyan, but most of the time there is not. I heard recently that Chabad opened up in South Tahoe, but I don't know about their daily minyan situation.

In terms of kosher food, they are regular supermarkets that and carry all the food that you would normally find an American supermarket. The Safeway in Tahoe City also has a small kosher section (dry foods) IIRC.

I need some help
My wife and I moved to the u.s. around half a few year ago so we have basically been nowhere.
We wanna go for a vacation at the end of June from Wednesday night till Monday night we have miles and points so flights and hotels shouldn't be a problem we are just not sure where to even start.
We wanna go to a relaxing vacation just a beautifull place with maybe  a thing or two to do in the area.
Any ideas?

Any suggestions?

Vail Colorado. You won't need a car if you take a taxi from the airport

You have a 6 year old, anywhere outside during the summer should be interesting :) . And yes there are many kid friendly activities there.

Lake Tahoe is in Nevada. You can fly into Sacramento and other airports.

I'm looking to go away with 2 kids In June or July for a couple of days
somewhere that's cool, has some kosher food, and AA flies direct, and a good SPG option.
I have a ton of AA miles, AA gc, and SPG points and I need to burn them.
What are my options?
I'm thinking of doing a Europe trip, traveling with 2 kids 3&5
I found availability for 4 on AA to ZRH thinking of staying at the Sheraton Davos on SPG points.
Now I would like to hit up another city or 2 while in Europe but would like to use AA miles and SPG points.
What are my options?

Only reason I didn't mention that was I'm not aware of amusement parks there.
Also 10 days would be beyond overkill there. And it may be too cool/rainy for the beach.
Plus there are just a couple good kosher restaurants.

Otherwise it's awesome, see my TR and you can definitely hit up Whistler and Victoria in that timeframe.

Where in Vancouver would you recommend, we have 3 kids 9 7 and 3. We would like to stay in a place with a nice view but with activities for the kids. we would go for a week. we can do biking boating etc but we would need at least 1 amusement park or alpine slides etc.

I did not see enough activities for a week unless there are attractions nearby. Is there any kosher food there?

You wouldn't go to Whistler for a week, but combine that with Vancouver, Victoria, and maybe even Seattle and you got yourself a trip with lots of kosher food.

With kids she wont want to travel that much. Choose two places. Seattle and Vancouver and you can be happy.
