With kids she wont want to travel that much. Choose two places. Seattle and Vancouver and you can be happy.

whistler vancouver
Personally I'd do Vancouver and Victoria, but Whistler is very nice, too.

Here goes, I'm looking for something to do this summer with my wife and 1 kid who will be 7 months. I got the Delta glitch tickets to LA but am not dying to go as I've already been there. I want to do something within a 6 hour flight in or around the USA, any ideas or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

If you like some nice scenery with nice weather you could do Banff or Vail Co

Vancouver is amazing, especially combined with Whistler and/or Victoria.

Whistler is 2 hours by car. Victoria is 3 hours by ferry. You can spend two to three days in each place.

Victoria is very different from Vancouver. While Vancouver is multi-cultural / city, Victoria is very quaint and English-style and more about nature.

I generally don't like botanical gardens, but the Butchard gardens outside Victoria were amazing (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Butchart_Gardens)

The butchart gardens is probably the most beautiful & scenic garden in the world.

Thanks. I haven't seen any kosher restaurants there. I did see Chabad offers shabbos meals and did email them to see if there is anything else but so far no response. Does anyone know if there is anything available there?

Anyone have an opinion whether stopping in Haifa and checking out the Bahai Gardens is worth it for a night/day? people say its great, but worth it (with young 6-7 year-old kids)?

Probably not. I suggest doing Shabbos in Vancouver - there are some hotels inside the eruv. It's not in central Vancouver per say, but you can see very nice views from there and the neighborhood is generally very nice.

Joel - not sure if this makes sense. What are your dates? If you have never been, then London, Paris, Venice and Rome should be your priorities.
