Caribbean.
it's good to be a Lubavitcher
Thanks! Any island or hotel in particular you have in mind?
Really depends on you and what you want/account balances for redemption purposes.
Secluded beach areas would be ideal. Looking more for scenic relaxation than "activities."I have plenty of UR, so I'm hoping Avios to get there and I'd prefer a Hyatt as I have upgrades, but I also have 20k Starwood and 70k United.
You should look at Dan's post on BA destinations and see which you may like. Bermuda is mainly beaches and you can get quiet areas. Costa Rica can also be reached with BA and has a nice Hyatt that was downgraded in category.
anyone been here??http://www.elounda.com/en/hotels/europe-greece-crete-lassithi-elounda/eloundapeninsulaallsuitehotel.html
I have been in the area but didn't overnight. Really nice island btw.
Thanks for your responses, much appreciated. It seems that the BA destinations don't end up syncing with nice Hyatt locations. (The Andaz is by the wrong airport in Costa Rica) I'll keep looking.
AA flies to the airport next to the Andaz.
http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=29568.0I can personally recommend the Residence Inn Plainview Long Island. I'm on mobile right now so I can't post a whole report but it's quite a nice hotel in a nice area.
Looking for a trip end of December, with kids. May just do to Miami (grandparents with car/apartment) but looking for something more interesting (and poor award availability to Miami)Does a week at the andaz papagayo make sense? Is there what do to in the area or is it mostly a beach location?I need four tickets. I currently see three seats RT in J for days that work. And the return has one seat available in economy. Should I book what's available and hope something opens?
Thoughts on the flights?
I'd take the flights now too.
