PR is great was a great weekend spot. Unless being near a shul is a must for you I would recommend not staying in the city.

so its time for vacation planning soon. I'm looking for a quick getaway weekend out of NYC and out of the states. The issue I cant take off so much from work. I have done in the past weekends in Cancun and Antigua because they have great flights either Thursday night or early Friday morning. If anyone has any idea for leaving nyc latest 7 p.m Thursday night and coming back Sunday night i am happy to hear!miles and points are no issue at all

I'm planning a vacation in early-mid January to Grand Cayman. I found a condo with a private beach, great reviews, stand alone etc. (pm me for a link) it's 225 a night but the problem is a 5 night minimum stay. I dont wanna spend a thousand dollars on the accomodations alone I'd prefer to stay there for 2.5 days and find a cheaper hotel option for the other 2. Please respond if you'd be interested in splitting the rental with me. It'd be 558.50 for 2.5 days. the 5 days would begin the afternoon of January 5th and end after shabbos evening of the 10th. I'm flexible as to which half. Lemme know

thanks for your tips guys, found great tickets on jet blue leaving Thursday evening to Sunday evening (that was the goal) to puerto rico. Now working on hotels learning the best ares etc etc. thansk for your help

Thinking about a quick 2-3 day getaway to a place with good snorkeling.

Any recommendations? US only, east or gulf coasts. South FL, PR, and the USVI are the obvious choices, but there is no Avios availability and the cash prices are ubreasonable.

It makes no sense for me or for any other jewish couple for that matter to book a vacation 10 months in advance. Chances are that your wife will be either carrying, nursing, or Nideh... and it really takes away lots of opportunities.

by me its honestly one of the hardest things in life. Since i loooove to hop around the world (for minimum price) and its not possible to book until max 3 month earlier.
