oh wow.  Thanks.

Like I wrote in another post, cheapest place without points as per this link, is a huge mega-resort about an hour from KUL, with rooms starting at under $200.

Although I imagine getting to KUL isn't much easier than BOB/MLE.

I would like to travel in Feb somewhere nice and warm I'm traveling with 3 kids including a infant, was thinking of  PR or CR.
Are these places doable with kids?
What are the main attractions there?

If you are thinking PR book now, prices are under $200 roundtrip.

Would think that PR is more doable with kids than CR, which is more adventures.

Cheapest first class awards tickets from NYC to Miami? Can you do the free stopover move for this flight (Miami to NYC and then NYC to LA six months later)?

No point in flying J from NYC to Miami. Waste of money/miles.

Except if this is the only vacation you're going to take alone for the next five years without the four kids and want to try out first class just once in your life...

It's not real first class. It's a 2 x2 layout instead of 3 x 3. Which means you're seats are bit wider and may, may lean back a bit farther. You'll have your own stewardess for the 10 or so of you and you may be lucky enough to be offered a newspaper or toiletry bag.

That's what they say. I flew on those kind of seats when I went around Europe, but that was because my itinerary was only like 20K more for getting like 12 legs with those seats and 1 leg better seats (crossing back into US). For a 2 hour flight, I can't see it being worth it.

Avios will be 15K RT. It's possible that SW could be less than that, although if you want to go direct, you may need to fly out of ISP/PHL.

Wouldn't HKG be number 1 on the list as Chucky said?
I am asking because the flights through HKG don't really work for me... But if that's a most to check out I'll still do it.  But if other citys are the same MOST, I would consider them as well and see if flights through them would work out better. Would shanghai be interesting? I would love to fly MU R.
