My 1bm!

As reported on another thread, I did yesterday a successful application batch with the following:
-Anex MB 50k
-Amex Plat 50k
-Amex Biz Plat 50k
-Amex Biz Gold 50k (Dan, your link didnt work, sorry, your fault)
all were approved right away (had to call in for the biz cards).

but U only used 1 IE browser for all th 4 apps;
the last 2 were applied for 4 hours later than the first 2.
today I checked all the 3 credit reports, and I found only 1 hard inquiry on my TU report!
Most funny part is that I live in NY!

For the record I know firsthand of people that did a 1BM for multiple apps and the apps got messed up.  Nothing to do with the pulls, just a cookie issue.

Worth to notice the benefit of not submitting all apps within a few seconds of each other, at least with Chase.
When you call recon after a 3BM the first thing you usually hear is "oh, I see you applied today for 3-4 cards, whats the reason you did that?" and of course you can explain all the benefits of each respective card, but...
What I do is, I apply for the first card, decision, most of the time with Chase, is pending. call recon. bla bla bla. approved. apply #2. pending. call recon. asks why 2 cards. bla bla bla. approved. apply #3. pending. recon. asks oh, why 3 cards. umm bla bla bla. approved. apply #4. pending. call recon. asks oh oh oh, why sooo much cards. and now try to explain... only approved after having me conered to awkward positions, luckily she couldnt see my face blushing....

so basically, instead of having the 4th-app-trauma 4 times, I got it minimized to 1-2 times.

evidence seems to suggest that if all are done on the same day it will still be one pull but as with all 2-3-4BM YMMV you are never guaranteed one pull u may get more

But if the applicant were to get instant approval, I'd say they're better off with a 4BM and all apps submitted within 2-3 seconds of eachother.

Don't try this at night then... (same for "traditional" 2/3/4BMs too)
