I understood that. That doesn't knock Machpoud off the good hechsherim list though.

If someone doesn't want to eat Machpud, where can you eat fleishig with a better/different hechsher up north, in Tveria, Tzfas, ect.
Please provide names and if possible addresses/phone numbers. Thanks
The only places I know of on rechov yerusalem in tzefat are new York bagel and mendys (0774108002- 0527609099)
I was just by mendys this week and it's a heimish style sit down restaurant. The salmon was by far the best I've ever had in Israel, And overall they make wonderfull food (except the stir fry)

I plan to stay in the Tveria area and was wondering about the kashrus of the hotels in the region. I know the Kibbutz Lavi hotel is glatt/mehadrin, but I was wondering if there's anything nicer that offers a good breakfast with a decent hechsher. Of course the topic of hashgachos in Israel is complicated to say the least, but any help would be appreciated. Just to give you an idea - I would eat cholov stam...
Thanks!

Been to mendys many times , great food they also have complete shabbos available , you have to call and they give you a menu with a few options for a set price, so you don't have to bring anything from yerushalayim.
P.s. it taste's homemade ,and they speak english the owner is from n.y

Age? There's Jeeping and Paintball in the area (Kibutz Ayeles Hashachar), the latter might not be for young kids.

Chocolate factory in Degania.
For a little money, you can make different chocolate creations to bring back with you, and while waiting for them to harden, you can walk around the cows.
Call up first to verify the kashrus.

There's also some beautiful national parks in the Golan with water to walk through if the weather is warm enough.
