Moving from verizon to At&t to be able to get the BlackBerry passport. Have 4 months left on contract with verizon. They say will cost me $150 ETF. Any realistic way of getting this off?

Need free nights and weekends? Y/N: Would prefer, but don't need.

Total texts needed per line: If unlimited please state so.
Monthly budget:

Have a friend and his wife who is going to la for a week.
What are their options?

Can be by law they cannot charge you more than 50

Is his phone a CDMA phone? If it is a smartphone will not work on this plan! If he has a GSM phone it isn't compatible with verizon.

My daughter and son-in-law are coming from Israel for Pesach for two weeks. They want to be able to use their unlocked Israel cellphones here in the New York area, primarily for Waze. They asked me to get SIM cards for them. What are the options?

It's out of stock, and they say T-Mobile will blacklist the phone if it's not renewed for at least 90 days.

Any experience with Ready SIM? The 14-day plan is $35. The Amazon reviews are all over the place. T-Mobile has a month with 100 minutes and unlimited web and text for $30 plus $15 for the SIM card. Simple Mobile has a month for $40 plus $0.99 for the SIM card. Others? Opinions?

Maybe this one is out of stock but there are other sellers out there with the same deal.

They don't ask for the imei number so how can they blacklist a phone. I am talking from experience. I buy every month 3 of these for 3 different friends. One of them puts up about 50gb of data every month.

Mind posting an active one? I have seen this for simple 40 plan but not tmo unlimited data..

On ebay people sell the 40 plan for less than 10 dollars with a sim. They assume you will continue using it

Not ime, the 4s from Sprint and vzw don't need the sim card. So it needs to be a sprint iphone.

Sprint and Verizon use CDMA technology.

Thanks (and thanks to poster before you whom i forgot to quote as well).

I know that unlocked sim phones are for GSM. I was wondering whether the new "4G" sim situation would somehow make the GSM-4S work with Sprint. But I guess the answer is no.

Newer iphones like the 6 can be used for multiple carriers since sprint and vzw now use the sim for lte service.
