Small List compiled for Flip phone service. Regular service with unlimited data and all to come.

1.Tracfone-All Carriers $20 Talk/Text 1GB ($30 for first 6 months)
1b. Unlimited talk and text, no data $15/month ($10 with auto pay)

2.Mobi-Verizon $10 (Additional $5 off the 1st three months)

3.Tello-Tmobile $8 , US Mobile.

-EXPLAINED A BIT MORE IN DETAIL-
Tracfone Wireless- (CDMA/GSM Verizon/T-Mobile/AT&T)
First 6 months at $30 plus taxes.
Pay for the first 2 months $15 each month with autopay, then use reward points for the next 4 months. Use Referral code OOAB-E354 to get you 8,000 points. You must activate and set up the rewards within 14 days of activating Phone service.
They limit 5 uses per month, so feel free to PM before using if you want to confirm they work for this month, as well they seem to be changing the referral code after every use. So feel free to post in the thread or message me for a new code.
The points will only kick in after 60 days of service(hence the reason for keeping paid service for 60 days) the points will kick in getting you 8,000 Points, which is enough for 4 months free. You can redeem 2,000($20) increments for a free month of service and do that for a total of 4 months free.
Now you must turn off auto pay after the first 2 months in order for the free 4 months that you added to kick in.  If you don't turn off auto pay it will continue billing your credit card and you will not get those free months until you turn off auto pay.
 Works on CDMA or GSM.

 Mobi Wireless- (Verizon/CDMA)
$10 a month. With a referral code you can get another $5 off the 1st three months which I can give you. You need to sign up in the first week for the referral bonus to kick in.
Click here to pm me for the info.

Yes on both.
do you know how ATT prepaid compares to ATT  in terms of reception and data speed?
I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

Not exactly the right thread...
Any recommendations for a Verizon mifi from eBay.. I have no clue what I'm looking at with all the different options. I'll be using it on a single device with no heavy usage, no streaming.

Some have claimed that ATT has better service than Verizon in 08701. The iPhone 6s comes in a1633 for ATT & a1688 for Verizon. Only difference between them is that the latter doesn’t support band 30 from ATT. Any way to figure out if band 30 is offered in 08701?

Hi,

Which prepaid company / plan is the best for some guy that visits the US many times a year and wants to keep the same number?

Either the cheapest prepaid plan and let it run for the entire time (can be on lowest plan, and upgrade when actually using for more internet)

Or if there is some other company that lets you keep your number for some time without refilling the line.

Any idea where I can pickup an ATT SIM card in 08701? Store in Howell told me they don’t sell.

I know tello.com has a 3 month inactive usage policy. You have to make a call within 3 months in order to avoid being shut down. You can also make calls through their app if he won't be back within 3 months and that will count as usage.

You can initially load it with $10. Each call is 3¢ per minute on the pay as you go plan. And they're regular plans are pretty cheap too.

Although this runs on Sprint which doesn't have the best network and uses CDMA phones which an Israeli won't have.

If you want I can PM you a referral code.
My Tapatalk notifications don't always work.

I bought a used iPhone 6s A1633 on eBay, which is the ATT model and should be unlocked. When I insert the SIM, I get an error message that the SIM is not compatible with the phone. Apple told me that the phone is locked to Sprint. That seems strange to be because the phone could not have been purchased from Sprint as they would have sold the A1688. Sprint refused to talk to me since i am not the owner of the Sprint account. Does it make sense that Sprint would lock a phone that wasn't purchased from them? Any suggestion how I can solve this problem? Thanks.

Don't think sprint would lock a phone not from them.maybe the back cover was changed. Maybe check the model number from in the settings to confirm it's really the 1633.
Reach out to Ebay seller as the phone is not unlocked

I checked the model number through setting and it shows the A1633. The seller claims they have no way to access previous account owners carrier account. They will accept a return, but I will be left without a phone. I transferred from Total Wireless to ATT and am currently without any phone service. Do those SIM unlocking services on eBay or elsewhere really work? Any other solutions?
I did a search on www.imei.info and Swappa and came up with following results. Would it show if it was locked by sprint?

Depends on how much data, minutes, and texts he would need when he's active.

i would say tello $11  unlimited talk and text. first of all you can join tello for free on the $14 remember to downgrade the plan before the next month make a reminder card and if you use this P3KKJKKJ code (remember to click on Referral code when you sign up) get 10 dollar free. ulimited USA and canada and china plus an average of 3 cents to israel and UK (you have to add topup money for that) you can add the $10 referral to the top up

He'll have to pay $6/month for the number even if he doesn't use it.
(pm me for a referral if you want to get $25 off)
