I am not sure from where you got this info. AFAIK they run on T-Mobile network, a 4g Verizon phone maybe compatible but they definitely don’t use the Verizon network

As stated many times, blocking data is never a good solution, as every phone has Wi-Fi which can be used to access the internet. To answer your question though, Hellomobile does not have that option

Sorry that ain't true, especially with certain flip phones and especially if they are tagged.
So if the sim inside can theoretically be taken out and has data on it, that's an issue.
Yes I am aware kids can do other things, but for the item you give them, you want that to be the proper setup.

99% of them do have Wi-Fi. Yes even flip phones. Even TAGged phones. TAG can disable the ability to ACCESS/BROWSE the internet, not remove the ability to CONNNECT to the internet. There is a difference. Now that you say you are worried about transferring SIMs though, you would have better luck with US mobile custom plans or Tello, or most post-paid carriers which allow blocking of specific services.

You'll need a separate login for each device to receive the 8k points per account. Vs adding to the existing phone line, they now have a promo where you can get 10k for adding a line to an existing account.
 I was reading on howard forums something to the effect of adding the phone but not activating service yet to see if the 10k bonus points for a new line will kick in and then... didn't have time to read through it all.
 But a new account is needed for the 8k bonus points.

Their unlimited everything plan comes with 19.3 gb of data, and that's it, no slower speeds etc, they just shut the data till the next cycle.
This is a widespread issue, a bit of Google brings it up.

If you cannot find a working Tracfone 8k welcome bonus code at all, you can PM me as there may be some other option if not as great as the 8k offers. Seems each one is only useable 5x per calendar month. Remember that there are officially 14 days from activation to put in a code, so some people may be able to try in October.

So my son's yeshiva doesn't want him to have a device that looks like a smartphone because other kids will think he has a smartphone.
Now I do need to get a dumb looking flip phone. Anybody have any ideas for a flip phone that works for Tracfone that I can easily remove the browser and app store from? With a regular android, I was able to do that easily using adb. I prefer to do it myself over going to TAG.
