T-Mobile has a unique feature. I believe other carriers don't have. Is WiFi calling on your primary line. No 3rd party softwar needed
Let's say your office has no reception. But you have WiFi there you can talk and text and of course browse the web on your phone.

Data point: not on all phones.
Know someone with a Moto X which does not support WiFi calling, and in the mountains (south fallsburg town) he had zero service

I forgot to add. It has to be a T-Mobile branded smartphone in order the WiFi calling should work. I believe the moto X is not T-Mobile branded.

Separate story: Moto told me that the X was built for T-Mobile, and the unlocked comes with a T-Mobile Sim, but T-Mobile claims that the phone doesn't work in their network at all, but after a while they agreed for service, but had to buy a new Sim card, cuz the one that came along "could be very old"

I have airvoice wireless, and people are complaining that they call me and hear funny beeps, and it doesn't ring nor go to voicemail.

Anyone else experience this?

I would try taking ou the Sim put it back in. If that doesn't work it is probably the phone. What kind of phone do you have?

haha my sim does that all by itself!!

It's a nokia flip phone. I don't like it. Once it just deleted all my contacts without asking. It does funny things sometimes. I'd replace it but there isn't a thread for flip phone recommendations

I think the wiki needs links and details about different plans and carriers. This may help people avoid waiting for answers from members. I would love to do it but I usually only have time when I'm mobile

I think there are a bunch of websites that do that. All you need to do is find a good one and link to it.

I have 6 lines on a family plan with sprint and we are paying $340. This includes unlimited data. We can cap data off at 10gb or even 12gb.

Does anyone have prices for Verizon or ATT for the same amount of lines and data?
