All airlines charge those when flying CA>USA

Thanks. Avios are a real lifesaver. I need a one-way flight next week, and the cheapest online flight I found was almost $400.

If Avios redemption for NYC -> O'Hare, only currently shows 2 available flights. Can I assume that even though the AA website shows award availability for additional flights that day, they cant be booked via Avios?

10k UA and they have much bigger planes. You'd run in to the $75 fee though.

how come it says British Airways does not have traffic rights to operate directly between these two cities.
thats the message i got from ba.com
Because they don't :)

Click include partners.
Click on Include Partners
you must click on include partners after nothing come up on the first search
If it says "Traffic rights", you're searching for revenue.
You need to search for award.

First shot is a revenue search.
This is where it mentions "traffic rights" and no availability.

The next three is how to search for awards.
Note: you need to sign into the Executive Club first.

The last shot is availability on the same day and route as the revenue search, and voila! availability

dates and times?

I want to fly tomorrow (18th), preferably as late as possible.

I know AA has flights at 4,5, and 6:00pm. But none of these are showing up on BA.

Hi,

I know right now I can get a 30% bonus on transferring my MR to BA Avios. But I also know, that in the past, there have been higher bonuses (as high as 50% IIRC). Do we think those higher bonuses will come back, or should I transfer the points now? I dont need to book travel urgently at all, but I want to get the best bonus....

No Platinum.  Bus gold. But the annual fee doesn't come until September 2013, so no need to rush for me.

9000 (actually I believe it's 13,500 because Avios charges 3x for business where there isn't an F class).

All domestic first on AA will be triple the economy rate, unless it's a 3 class place like LAX/SFO-JFK
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

The only reason I had at all a ספק, was because you once wrote about those short NYC-YYZ flights that it's worth going in business for 9k (double, not triple) if you need to take luggage...

Alas I now understand, that even though there are much longer domestic flights than NYC-YYZ for way less than 12.5k (NYC-LA/SF) OW, they are nevertheless domestic, YYZ=intntl.
