Looking for recommendation for restaurant in Manhattan with private room for 6-8 people.
Mike's has a private room for 10.

Reserve Cut is an awesome place! Great service/experience and amazing food. Pricey but well worth it IMHO.

I've always been able to walk in without reservation, maybe that's just my experience though.

I know there is a lot of repetition on this forum, but this thread is ridiculous. Mike's and RC for meat. Noi Due for dairy. Done

Agreed.
But add in LM for meat if you're on a budget or looking for value.
And ABC for fast food.

Went opening week and they didn't have their act together, will have to return.
Didn't care for the old PG though.

I agree the old pg was not amazing. The new PG was very good when I was there last week.

I had those things with you :P

They're very good, but I don't think it belongs on the short list for the same reason that Wolf and Lamb don't belong on the short list for their W&L Burger, or the Pulled-beef brisket sandwich.

I've always had a bad taste from PG, not sure why. Could be the pretentiousness of the place, could be their exorbitant prices, or something else, or a combination. Far and away not my first choice, or even a place on the short list.

And that's where we'll disagree.
If you don't mind splurging you won't get a lunch like that anywhere else in the world.

Did it again more recently and it was even better than the first time. Though that may have been helped along by the awesome mixed drink I got that time :D

Got the Tacos and the Pot Stickers to go. Mimi was in awe.

Once again Dan, you are right! LM is about the most reasonably priced upscale kosher restaurant (and probably the one that has been around the longest).
