Went to La Brochette. Ambiance was very nice. Not too crowded. Most of the tables aren't too close together. Waiters were great. The chicken dumplings were good, the short rib spring rolls were excellent. The asian bbq short ribs were phenomenal - highly recommended!
+100, that place is a hidden gem in manhatten

+ 1.  This spot was a favorite of mine when it was Le Carne Grill, too.  And agreed on the short rib spring rolls.

Will be at Reserve Cut tonight. I will probably get a steak but my wife is a big fan of gourmet burgers. Has anyone ever tried the Wagyu steak burger there? Just curious if its worth the 46.00 price tag.

I must say I was there this past Sunday and the food wasn't worth the price, I had better food for less the price.

My favorite place in the City is Mikes Bistro, you can order blindly that everything will be incredibly delicious, and they're not over priced and the tables aren't so close each other, so even when its crowded its ok

Agreed. Price is for the ambiance.
Though their steak sandwich for lunch is phenomenal and is a relatively good value. Can't see myself returning for dinner.

True.
Have you been to their new location? I was at MIke's for Lunch (business) and dinner (personal) this week, and both times the food and service were great. Note, that lunch is apparently pre-fixe only at $75 a person for salad, soup, main and desert, bottled water and iced tea inclusive.

Was there several months ago and was not impressed. Ordered a salmon dish that was over-priced and half-cooked. Colleagues at the table had a similarly meh experience.

I've had the lunch at mikes.  The food was delicious and allowed someone to order a soup or salad that you wouldn't normally get.  I was full when I left, but for someone that wants to choose what they are eating $75 might be little steep.  I had a good time and they did give you 3 options for the entree and were nice enough to bring out the old fashioned chicken soup instead of the more exotic option they had on the menu.

I felt the new place had the tables a bit too close together. On a full night, it was too crowded.

Plus the default "Medium Well" for all burgers is sure to annoy some people...
