La Brochette and Mike's are really good. Wolf & Lamb is near there too though not as good as the other two (still really solid though).
It seems like Mike's is closed for lunch. La Brochette is about a 30 minute walk (I won't have time). I'll consider Wolf and Lamb. Thanks.

I ended up finding street parking 2 blocks away. Went tonight and used a Groupon. Was very impressed with the food - Prime rib steak and broiled roumanian tenderloin steak were both cooked the way we asked and were extremely tasty. Fries were good. Chicken fingers were pretty good - we asked for some dipping sauces (otherwise it doesn't come with any).

Got there a little after 8 and they quickly seated us, took our order and brought out the food because the kitchen was closing. The restaurant closes at 9.

Mr. Broadway has TVs. I'm sure they'll have the game on.

Not breaking bank is Mendys. Better food and more $ is Le Marais.

Wolf and Lamb is better than both Abigail's and Le Marais IMO.

me too. Some people don't go for Persian food though.
BTW I don't think Mendy's falls in the restaurant category :)

Disagree on the steak part, but everyone's entitled to their opinion. I was never impressed with Abigail's, and used to love Le Marais but it's had a serious drop in quality lately.

Looking for a light lunch option for tomorrow.  Close to Penn Station.  (Not Mendy's).  Recommendations?
