I hear. I've never found anything in NY matching the quality of a comparable establishment in LA, but with my traveling to LA several times a year, I'm sorta tired of it all.

The good thing about Chicago is that you can cover the restaurants in a short trip. In fact, I did a trip earlier this year to Shallots (and Milt's) similar to the one you wrote about a while back.
Was by milts last week and it wasn't intresting that much

Sounds like you ordered poorly.
Exciting things are the milt's burger, rib sandwich, brisket chili nachos, pretzel bites, etc.

Thanks. Coming from way uptown so LM makes more sense - though I generally think that deserts are better at dairy places. Are there none of note?

Been taking clients to RC for a while now, is there anywhere new in the city that is client appropriate (high quality/looks expensive with good service?) as I see it there is mikes and prime grill (prime at Bentley is borderline). Anywhere else around that level?

Any one been to Mocha Burger? Would love to hear how the food is there. Thanks!

To echo what others here said:

Lunch wasn't cheap (over $100 incl. tax and tip for a full lunch for two), but burgers were very good, ambiance and service were good.

+1

But that's about the same price as every other (not fast food) burger place. And at least the:

burgers were very good, ambiance and service were good.

I'd rather go to Mocha for burgers then Boeuf any day.

Is promenade a nice place for dinner?
